Yes! The key to our PPF being easy to DIY is due to our simplified templates. They have been specifically designed to align quickly and easily, removing all the fiddly parts of installing.
You will also receive specific video tutorials that take you step by step through fitting your kit.
We recommend you remove the film no longer than 12 months after the warranty expires. If you remove the film within this time frame, it comes off easily with the assistance of heat.
Our films come in a range of 1yr, 5yr or 10yr warranties depending on the level you select.
The biggest difference between Cape and Advance is their tear resistance and self healing properties. They have different adhesive and top coats, therefore different life expectancies.
Cape is designed to be installed for a trip, then removed. Think of it as a sacrificial layer, it’s there to be damaged.
Advance film is for those that want quality PPF at DIY prices. This film is far stronger and will comfortably last for years of travel.
We all know the Aussie heat can be unforgiving! We have tried and tested our films in Australia over the past 8 years in tough conditions, and we know it can take the brunt of the heat and UV.
Not only will the film repel up to 97% of UV Rays but more importantly it eliminates oxidisation which is what more commonly affects the appearance of your paintwork fading long-term.
Advance film is far more durable in the heat than Cape, we highly recommend only Advance film is fitted to horizontal surfaces.
We do recommend that if you live in a harsh climate such as WA or NT, that you upgrade to the BushWrapz Advance film. This is due to the harsh water.
If we don't have your snorkel listed as an option on our product page, that means we don't have it as a pre-cut option. You will need to customise the fender template to suit your snorkel. Same goes for clear view mirrors.Don't stress! We provide you with tutorial videos on how to do this.
Full bonnets and bumpers are such large and technical panels to install. They are not panels that we would recommend someone attempting themselves at home due to the multiple curves they have.If you would like BushWrapz applied to these panels, contact your nearest installer for a quote on these.
BushWrapz PRO needs to be installed by a professional installer due to the templates being slightly different. Being that BushWrapz PRO is a 10 year warranty film and ultimately going to be on your vehicle for 10+ years, these templates have been created to ensure a very custom and seamless look where possible. This requires bulking and trimming, therefore, not something we would recommend anyone DIY-ing.
If you would like a quote on BushWrapz PRO, you will need to contact your nearest BushWrapz Certified installer for a quote.
Purchased a Bushwrapz sample pack to test fit the Cape & Advanced and found the kit came with everything required to apply product.
Overall impressions, “exceptionally impressed” with the ease and DIY process.
Advance seemed to be easier to apply and is clearly the product of choice.
Sample sizes were good, and I deliberately used the Advance sample cut to apply to a panel that my shovel sometimes rubs on roof, so this sample piece will help provide extra protection.
Recommend and happy to proceed forward to purchase the full pack (advanced).
Just need to find the time to commit myself to DIY and apply myself on my Next Gen Everest.
Wow Andrew! Thank you so much for your exceptional review, we love to hear it! Looking forward to your Everest getting some love
Purchased the sample pack to inspect the differences in material. Good size swatches, easy to install. Looking at purchasing Advanced kit!
I bought the film test pack to see how the different films would stick over a 2 year old ceramic coating, as well as see how well it would cover some bush pinstriping.
I was surprised with how well it hid the light scratches, and it stuck fine on my coating. There were some small bubbles/trapped water under one of the pieces of film, but they disappeared after a couple of warm days.
I’m going to order a full kit now.
