VAEL 120 Gloss THICC Paint Protection Film

Extra tough protection for high wear areas

Some parts of your vehicle simply cop more abuse than others. Lower doors, sills, skirts and arches. These areas see the stones, mud, debris and everyday knocks that standard films can struggle with over time.

VAEL 120 Gloss was made exactly for those spots. At 12mil thick - it’s our toughest, most durable PPF, designed to take serious impact while still looking clean and factory fresh on the paint. All the clarity, self healing and UV stability of VAEL 75 - just thicker and stronger.

Why Choose VAEL 120 Gloss THICC?

Clear Paint Protection Film

12mil Thick Protection

More than 50% thicker than standard PPF.

Built to take the hits that thinner films can’t - perfect for high wear areas on 4WDs, SUVs, utes and performance cars.

Stronger Impact & Scratch Resistance

Designed for areas that see a constant beating from stones, sand, mud, gravel and day to day wear.

Same Premium Finish as VAEL 75 Gloss

Even with the extra thickness, VAEL 120 Gloss THICC still offers:

  • Clear optical finish
  • No orange peel
  • Self healing surface
  • UV stability

Long term clarity. If you’re familiar with VAEL 75 Gloss PPF, think of the exact same look but thicker.

Self-Healing Top coat

Faint scratches and swirls vanish with heat from the sun or warm water.

Made for Australian Conditions

Built to handle harsh UV, rough roads, corrugations, dust, heat and coastal environments.

CUSTOMERS WHO TRUSTED VAEL FOR THEIR VEHICLES

Getting my dream car was exciting, that excitement turned to stress when I started thinking about the impact living in inner city sydney can have on the paint job of my new pride and joy. Vael PPF has made the car look better than when I first picked it up, easier to keep clean, and I now have peace of mind that my pride and joy is protected. Investment was 100% worth it”

Charlie - AUDI RS3

We’ve had the new Bushwrapz Vael film in the workshop for a few months now and it’s quickly become a favourite. From an installer’s point of view, it’s great to work with. Smooth to install and it finishes exceptionally well. The end result genuinely matches anything else in the market. One of the standout improvements is its ability to resist staining, which makes it ideal for real-world driving conditions. We’ve used it mostly for front impact protection packages, but it’s performed just as well on a range of 4WD installs too. The clarity and how it enhances the paintwork is next level. Our team at Perth Detailing Centre couldn’t be happier with it.

Dave - Perth Detailing Centre

So happy with how the Vael PPF turned out! My car looks so clean and shiny, and the best part is how easy it is to keep it looking that way. Installation was super smooth, and the customer service team were great to work with, they gave us great advice on picking the right product. If you want peace of mind for your car, definitely go see them!

Frequently Asked Questions — VAEL 120 THICC

What’s the difference between VAEL 120 THICC and VAEL 75? +

Both films share the same clarity, self-healing, UV resistance and overall finish.

The only difference is thickness:

  • VAEL 75 → 7.5mil (standard premium PPF)
  • VAEL 120 THICC → 12mil (extra-tough protection)

THICC is simply built for harder hits and heavier wear.

Does the extra thickness make it look bulky? +

No — it still looks clean and sits neatly on the paint.
Installers use the same edge wrapping and finishing techniques as regular PPF.

Where should I use VAEL 120 THICC? +

Anywhere that sees more wear:
Side skirts, lower doors, wheel arches, sills, lower bumpers, tailgate areas, and high-impact zones.

Many owners use VAEL 120 THICC in those spots and VAEL 75 everywhere else.

Does it still self-heal? +

Yes — even though it’s thicker, the self-healing topcoat works the same.

Fine scratches and swirls disappear with heat.

Is it as clear as VAEL 75? +

Yes. The clarity and finish are the same.
No cloudy texture, no orange peel.

Who installs VAEL 120 THICC? +

Only our trusted installer network across Australia.

They’ve been selected for experience, attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Do you offer a warranty? +

Yes — VAEL 120 THICC is covered by a 10-year warranty, just like the rest of the VAEL range.

Can I put it over resprayed paint? +

We don’t recommend it.

Resprayed paint can be soft or poorly bonded, which increases the risk of paint lifting if the film is ever removed.

Speak to your installer first — they’ll inspect the surface and give you proper advice.

Can it be removed without damaging my paint? +

Yes, as long as your paint is factory or high-quality OEM paint.

Your installer can safely remove it if needed.
